Musical piece
I created this piece on my free time. i enjoyed working on this piece. i chose the song Alice By Pogo and created my own images in adobe illustrator to animate. This piece was fun i just played with 2.5D and 3d cameras in order to create it. i found it was alot of fun just doing something aside from what i have been doing. Currently
I have currently been working alot in after effects i have been experimenting with 3d space or 2.5d which is not true 3d. i created a multiplane timeline of my daily commute to school. i have found that it is best to set up your work in a way that you are most comfortable working with. i found that transitions are most important when changing into new subject matter. it requires alot of understanding of shots angles and timing. i have been reading the book titled SHOT BY SHOT by Steve Katz. I have found this book useful and recommend it to any student studying animation or film. Aside from after effects i have been working alot in Maya a 3d program. I have just been becoming familiar and experimenting in the program. I enjoy it alot and plan on taking it further and animating in the program.
